Also known as the American Wagyu Porterhouse, the steak is taken from the rib primal of a beef animal with the bone-in. It's traditionally known as a butcher's cut because the butcher would reserve certain tasty cuts for himself, the Porterhouse being one of them. As it comes from the upper rib cage, the muscles are underused with more fat, promising tender and well marbled meat.

This Wagyu Porterhouse has a well marbling taste like no other and is the best porterhouse you can find around the world.

The Wagyu Porterhouse steak is an incredibly juicy and tender steak with a buttery, rich flavor from the marbling. The bone in Wagyu is highlighted the most with the reverse sear.

Around the bone, is the section of the animal naturally collecting more intramuscular fat, creating the beautiful white lines of fat and the fantastic marbling unique to the rib primal.

Heat the inside of the steak in an oven or smoker on low heat and then sear on high heat on a cast iron or grill for an immense crust and a tender, cool center.

Honestly, I’ve tried steaks from diff places all over the world, the fact it’s fresh and never frozen makes this steak that much better. You can taste the difference. Best cuts for me: ribeye and skirt... nothing better IMO
