Also known as the Bone-in Ribeye, the Tomahawk Steak is taken from the rib primal of a beef animal with the bone-in. It's traditionally known as a butcher's cut because the butcher would reserve certain tasty cuts for himself, the Rib Eye being one of them. As it comes from the upper rib cage, the muscles are underused with more fat, promising tender and well marbled meat.

This giant, bone-in ribeye has a rich marbling like no other and is the best centerpiece your table can have. The tomahawk steak is an incredibly tender steak with buttery, rich flavor. This section of the animal naturally collects more intramuscular fat, creating the beautiful white lines of fat – the fantastic marbling unique to the rib primal.

This beautiful marbling adds a savory ribeye flavor and delicate buttery taste to this cut of steak. The bone in Ribeye is an absolute grand slam home run with the reverse sear. Heat the inside of the steak in an oven or smoker on low heat and then sear on high heat on a cast iron or grill for immense crust and a tender, cool center.

Honestly, I’ve tried steaks from diff places all over the world, the fact it’s fresh and never frozen makes this steak that much better. You can taste the difference. Best cuts for me: ribeye and skirt... nothing better IMO
